These terms cover reading and reusing material published by Forest Dispatch. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
Using this site
You may read, quote and link to anything published here. Quotations should be attributed to Forest Dispatch and, where possible, linked to the original article.
Images and footage
Photographs and camera-trap stills are licensed to the desk by the survey teams that captured them. They may not be reproduced, cropped or redistributed without written permission from both the desk and the rights holder.
Reporting is provisional
Field reporting describes the state of the evidence at the time of publication. Preliminary identifications can be revised, withdrawn or overturned. Where that happens we update the article and date the change at the foot of the page.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We take care over accuracy, but we do not warrant that every detail is free of error, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of a preliminary report.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the new version is published here with a revised date. Continued use of the site after that date indicates acceptance.
